Therapeutic Modalities

Therapeutic Modalities are techniques that help patients feel better by improving their function and mobility.

Electrical Stimulation

This creates muscle contractions using electrical impulses. It serves as a strength training tool for healthy subjects and athletes, a rehabilitation and preventive tool for partially or totally immobilized patients, a testing tool for evaluating the neural and/or muscular function, and a post-exercise recovery tool for athletes.

Ultrasound therapy are high frequency sound waves that provide a mechanical vibration like a micro-massage. It has been used for many years for musculoskeletal injuries and helps rapidly heal injured tissues as well as reducing pain.

Kinesio Taping

This unique tape is designed to provide support and stability to your joints and muscles without affecting circulation or limiting range of motion. Kinesio Taping can also prevent injury by promoting proper biomechanics, reducing both pain and swelling.

Kinesio tape helps reduce pain, inflammation, relaxes overused muscles, and helps support muscles. Traditional athletic tape is restrictive and doesn't provide the same qualities as the more modern kensio tape.
